Matthew Lyons is an insanely talented illustrator whose work is reminiscent of a retro-modern visuals with a strange yet satisfyingly apt geometric humanoids and a beautiful use of textures. It’s like a very clean sharp image got spattered with age and dirt from a truck wheel spinning in a puddle. check out his stunning illustration on his website.

by me. I wanted to buy my friend something from wee gallery for her baby shower, but being in my current broke state meant I really couldn’t afford those awesome animals. So, instead i totally cheated and made them myself. I hung these guys from a mobile that she pt in her nursery.

These are illustrations I’m working on for an iphone app I just made a prototype of. It’s interactive alphabet learning flash cards for children. The basic gallery is done I’m just ironing out some bugs. I made it in Titanium Studio. I’m trying to figure out how to get it on my phone to test the shake gesture. My phone’s registered as a developer testing something, but I’m still struggling. The Illustrations were made using a wacom tablet onto photoshop.
Iron & Wine

This is what I love about being here- concerts! I wish I wasn’t so broke I’d be at a lot more of these. I finally got to see Iron and Wine on Saturday at the Sound Academy. It was as magical as I’d imagined it to be, even more! Sam Sheppard and his brilliant band’s incredible performance was out of this world for me!
A little bit of the music I experienced- never as wholesome as the live show, but we must all make do.
